Willowford, Maine is fictional — a storytelling project sharing small-town charm, porchside reflections, and cozy harbor life through the voice of Maribeth Collins.

Meet Willowford

Welcome to Willowford, Maine — a small harbor town where the tides tell time, the air smells of salt and blueberry pie, and every story seems to drift from the docks to the town green before supper.

Tucked between two rocky peninsulas on Maine’s midcoast, Willowford is sheltered by the curve of Willowford Point. Life here is shaped by the sea — the working harbor, the fog that rolls in like an old friend, and the stubborn charm of a community that has weathered centuries of storms and still manages to throw one heck of a chowder cook-off.

Through Southern Eyes

Willowford may be old New England to its bones, but you’ll often find its story told here through the eyes of Maribeth Collins — a Georgia native who’s learning the tides, tasting the chowder, and discovering what it means to fall in love with a new town.

So whether you’re here for the recipes, the porch views, the town gossip, or just a little escape, pull up a rocker. The harbor’s always changing, but Willowford will be waiting.
